Recruited from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other places by G&S, 88 G&S Friends and representatives of donor institutions volunteered to help with G&S public benefit activities in the summer of 2019, with cumulative service time of 4488 hours.  During the summer, all the volunteers played their strengths to bring interactive courses and interesting games to the rural students in project areas. They also interacted well with local children and teachers, setting up G&S mini libraries and organizing science summer camp. Their devotion has deepened their understanding of the process and advantages of G&S commonweal activities. They have also gained a greater understanding of the rural education, and spread knowledge and ideas of it to the public.
