Based on G&S Science Class Project in Cangyuan county, Yunnan province, Tencent’s public charity documentary “Yearning Science Class” was released on its video documentary channel. The documentary received 1.68 million views in one week and inspired public discussion of the protagonist and rural science education. Designed and filmed by the Tencent’s documentary staffs, the documentary captured the local implementation of G&S Science Class and the science education experience of faculty and students, so as to convey the strength of public charity to our society.
