From August 11 to 17, 2013, the first G&S Science Camp was held in Beijing Primary School in Shifang City, Sichuan province. 101 pupils from rural schools in Shifang city participated. The science camp provided opportunities for pupils from different age groups to explore science and feel its charm. The 101 children were like 101 buds that will thrive with the spirit of scientific Inquiry, happiness, and growth instilled in their heart by the camp. The program serves as an exploratory and interactive platform for children’s learning of science, and will be implemented and promoted in G&S’s Scientific Class Project areas.
